What Size Residential Projects Do You Take On?

Fine Line Design works on residential projects ranging from substantial additions and renovations to large custom homes. There is no maximum size of residential project we take on. We have designed new custom homes of 10,000 square feet, and when we take on a project of that scale, it receives a significant amount of our time and attention.

There is a minimum project size that makes sense for our firm. We do not take on standalone decks, single dormers, small screen porches, finished basements, etc. Those smaller, isolated projects are usually better handled directly by a qualified contractor or structural engineer.

Most of our work consists of custom homes, additions and major renovations throughout Cape Cod. Primary bedroom suite additions are the most common types of additions we currently design.

We also have extensive experience with historic homes. Our office is located on Route 6A, and we have worked on hundreds of historic properties over the years, including projects within the Old King’s Highway Historic District.
